What is island silk made of

Island silk is a kind of chemical fiber, which is widely used in suede fabric. Island fiber disperses one kind of polymer in another kind of polymer. In the fiber cross section, the dispersed phase is in the state of "island", while the parent is equivalent to "sea". The components of "island" and "sea" are continuous, dense and uniformly distributed along the axis of the fiber.

Characteristics of island fiber
